Taco Seasoning

I don’t know about you, but I don’t really like buying those little packets of seasoning. I cringe every time I use one, knowing that I could have easily replicated it for less money and less preservatives!! So last night I finally googled a recipe for taco seasoning and it was so tasty!! Better than the store packages and much better for us. Want the recipe? This makes just enough for one pound of ground beef (about 2 Tablespoons worth). So if you really like tacos and eat them a lot…make up a big batch of this, store it in an airtight container in your cupboard and use about 2 Tablespoons when you are ready for some tacos. (Make sure to shake it up first so all the heavy ingredients don’t just stay at the bottom).

  • 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/4 tsp. Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. Paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Ground Cumin
  • 1 tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper (optional)
